Fasting 101

Over the next few Wednesday nights, we will be taking certain stories out of the bible of when God’s people fasted and what the results were.
Many people will say that fasting is not for today but was reserved for the OT people. However, our text tonight reveals something different.
You see, the same reasons that lead people to fast in the OT were many in the same when it came to the folks in the NT and as being a part of the NT church as well, you and I too.
