The Little Fox of Unforgiveness

Three groups of people mock Jesus while he is hanging on the cross: the religious leaders, the Roman soldiers, and a criminal. 

Jesus responds by fulfilling his own teachings: turning the other cheek, loving his enemies, and praying for those who persecute him. 

The cross reveals God’s self-giving love: forgiveness for the oppressors, forgiveness for the mockers, and forgiveness for the trespassers.
